Mid-Derbyshire Riding For The Disabled Association is based on Red Hill Lane, Tansley, Derbyshire DE4 5GD. With our three friendly horses Taffy, Zilka and Millie and a whole host of dedicated volunteers, we provide therapeutic riding opportunities to people with a variety of additional needs.

Safe Places are places of refuge for people who have become seperated from their support or feel disorientated. The people here will be able to offer support and contact help if it is needed.
Emmanuel Community Projects runs ‘Share A Bus’ to enable local community groups and individuals to access a minibus run on a ‘not for profit’ basis in the Duffield area of Derbyshire. The bus is great for transporting people with disabilities and mobility issues.
Sight Support Derbyshire is a charity that is dedicated to improving the lives of people with sight loss throughout Derbyshire. Every year we provide services, support and advice and information to at least 9500 registered blind and partially sighted local people.
Spirit and Soul Equine Assisted Activity Centre is a not for profit organisation based in Derbyshire. We provide equine assisted learning activities to individuals, groups and families to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
All our horses have come from different backgrounds and have each have healed, emotionally and physically, meaning they are now in a place to help people.

Partially Deaf Tutor has years’ experience of Deaf Culture and language, offering Level 1 and 2.
1:1 private tuition and group teaching British Sign Language. Follows Signature who are the awarding accredited body for BSL. You will receive a certificate upon completing either Level 1 or 2.
The 1:1 teaching is at your pace so therefore no deadlines. Tutor will try and cater to your preferences of days and times to suit you.
